How to add album art in Windows Mobile

To add an album art to any existing mp3 or wma in your pocket pc or windows mobile device this is what you have to do.

1) Connect your device to your computer and sync it. (I know you already know that)
2) Click on the "Explore" folder >> My Windows Mobile-Based Device folder >> Storage Card folder >> Music folder
3) Inside your music folder click on the folder that contains the file you wish to add the album art. There should be two folders for each album, one with the name of the artist and another one with the name of the album in which the mp3 or wma file should be.
4) Now look for a 150 x 150 .jpg image in your computer or on the web that you would like to use as the album art for that... album, and place it inside the folder that contains the mp3 or wma file. Done!

Should look something like this...

Good luck and have a nice day!

Looking for a mini cell phone?

When I got my 8525 I had a cell phone with boostmobile (sprint) and when I took my boostmobile to Cingular to transfer the number they said that It could not be done for a reason that I don't remember; it was a stupid reason that's for sure, and they only wanted me to get a new plan or something, probably because the boostmobile was a pre-paid account. Anyways, because I wanted to use the phone I just went for a new pre-paid sim card and I ended up with a new number, now I had two different cell phones and two different numbers. Later on, holding to the believe that they HAVE to transfer your number (by law) if you ask for it, I made a few calls to sprint, bought a pre-paid cingular cell phone (a motorola c168i) and after a few more calls and attempts I was able to transfer my old number from Sprint to Cingular. The idea at first was to use my old phone number in my new 8525 but I ended up keeping both numbers from cingular and both phones.

Now, because my 8525 is so beautiful and precious (expensive) I always carry my crappy motorola c168i to work and leave the 8525 at home and only take it with me when I travel. Even though my trip to work is about 25 minutes, half of the time is walking and the other half is on the train so that leaves me with little or no time at all to play with it, also I have a laptop with internet at work and I really don't have time to play with the 1,001 things the 8525 can do during the day. However, sometimes I find myself in a situation where I can use an mp3 song during my way back home or a camera to take pictures at work. So I started looking for a phone small enough (or even smaller) to replace my crappy c168i and with at least an mp3 player in it. That's when my search for a "mini cellphone" began and this is what I found.

Neon 7 Mini Touchscreen Cell Phone

Here's the link from thinkgeek.com. This one is called the Neon 7, It has a touchscreen, 1.3mp camera/camcorder, heat sensitive buttons that glow, handwriting recognition, speech synthesis, simple POP/IMAP e-mail support, MP3/MP4 Player, stereo bluetooth support, 1GB Storage and tri-band GSM. You can buy this for $199.99 from the thinkgeek.com website and it will work with T-mobile or ATT/Cingular.

Mini Boom Box GSM Cell Phone

Here's another one fromthinkgeek.com. This one is called the Mini Boom Box, and guess what, it looks like a boom box! Common features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, voice dialing, SMS/MMS messaging and WAP Browser. You can buy this one for $149.99 at thinkgeek.com and it will work with with T-mobile or ATT/Cingular.

JD 198 Ice Cream or Funker f503

This one the JD 198 Icecream or F503 is not available for purchase through their website JD-usa.com, but there's a contact e-mail address where you can get more info for the nearest dealer to go and buy it yourself, but I'm not sure how that works. It's a triband GSM with bluetooth, mp3 player, FM radio, voice recorder among other features. There's no info on which cell phone carrier supports the device, if you need more info go to their website or watch this video they posted on youtube.

EV-K130 Mini Style by KTFT

This one, the "EV-K130 Mini Style" has a built-in 1.3MP camera, MP3 player and 165MB of memory. There's no info on which carrier supports it or where to buy it. To visit their website go to ktfever.com

Pantech PG-3600V

This other one, the Pantech PG-3600V is a triband GSM, it has bluetooth, mp3 player, 1.3mp camera, video, wap, calculator, calendar among other features. There's no info on which cell phone carrier supports it but you can buy this one for the ridiculous price of $339.99 at this website.

Modu Cell Phone

The Modu Cell Phone, there's no much info on this one, rather than is a cellphone and it can be inserted into multiple jackets turning it into a variety of devices with even more capabilities. The price is $200.00 but there doesn't seem to be a buying option here in the USA... yet. To visit their website go to http://www.modumobile.com/ or for a video go to gizmodo.com

NEO 808i

Finally the NEW 808i, nice mini cell phone. This is a triband GSM, it has bluetooth, 128mb micro SD card, FM Radio, WAP, 1.2mp camera (audio & video player - recorder) and other features. You can buy this one at their website for $275.00 in black/red or pink/grey but there's no info on which cell phone carrier supports it. From all the mini cell phones this one seems to have it all. However the specs for this cell phone claims that the device can play audio files but the mp3 player function is not mention anywhere on the website, so make sure to do an extra search on this one if you are ready to spend your money, you don't want to find yourself converting mp3 files to midi or something else.

Well, hope that helped if you were looking for a mini cell phone, I bet there are many more out there, or you could get a watch cell phone and look super.... ridiculous.
